Department Message
Welcome to the newly designed official website of the Bogota Volunteer Fire Department.
Since 1901, the Bogota Fire Department has served the residents of Bogota and surrounding communities as an ALL VOLUNTEER force. The department consists of four fire companies, and a current roster of over 50 skilled and dedicated volunteer firefighters.
Each of the firefighters in our department are educated, New Jersey State certified firefighters through training they receive at the Bergen County Fire Acadamy in Mahwah.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Bogota Volunteer Fire Department is to provide fire protection to the community of Bogota and our surrounding communities. This is achieved be ensuring the following.

Our equipment is up-to-date and response ready at all times.

Our members are trained in the latest lifesaving and firefighting skills.

We conduct training exercise on a regular basis to keep our skills strong.

We coordinate with our mutual aid partners.

We host community education programs when appropriate.

We welcome new members and assist these members with their education and skills.
